Operation Love: Reunited~Military Homecoming/Reunion Sessions~Phoenix, AZ

Three words:

Touching.  Joyous.  Sorrow.

My heart goes out my “OpLove” Session families.  So many times we get wrapped up in our own busy lives, in trivial matters.  Rarely, let alone on a regular basis, do most of us stop and think what others are giving up, so that we can go on enjoying our daily lives, our jobs, our OWN families, our friends and the rest of the sometimes mundane and trivial tasks that we complain about each day. Having several friends and family members that are active duty, this is my way to give a little.  No, it is not the same as leaving my family to wear full gear and body armor in 120+ heat in the desert, or serve overseas in a support position, but is all I can do…so I do it.

A & C were a gorgeous, recently newlywed couple.  He flew in for some R&R w/ his family who lives here in AZ and C came to join him for the duration of his visit. He deployed shortly after they were married and they’ve had precious little time together.  I tried to make it as painless as possible so A could get back home and enjoy his “Day of FOOTBALL!!”  Thanks for coming out sooo very early to allow me to capture this time you were able to spend together.  It was completely my pleasure.

Ok..i couldn’t help myself…here are a couple more 😉

  1. C is a friend of mine, and my husband is deployed with hers. These pictures are absolutely beautiful!! I don’t think many people realize how much it means to us as military wives to have the opportunity to have some beautiful pictures taken with our soldiers like this! You did an amazing job and my thanks goes out to you for doing such an amazing thing!!

    • Thank you for your kind words Kristae. I strongly encourage you to look into photographer opportunities through Operation Love: Reunited for when your guy comes home as well. It’s a lot of fun and the photographers involved make it even more so! Thanks again, and thank you to your soldier as well.
